Herrera and Ramirez among the top 10 at Moto3 Championship

 

This weekend has held the European Championship Motorcycle Racing at the Circuito de Albacete. As every year, the European title was raced speed to a single test in the familiar layout of the Torrecica . The Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0.0, technically managed by the school of mechanical and engineering competition Repsol Monlau Technical School, has come to the meeting with his KTM Moto3 riders and Spanish usual contest : Maria Herrera , Marcos Ramírez and Alessio Castelli .

 

Training The winner of the final round of the CEV Repsol , Maria Herrera , has been the fastest member of the team in the qualifying session . The Toledo stopped the clock in 1:33.851 and signed the fifth fastest time, to 0603 the author of the best time. Ramirez was eighth with 1:34.170 and the Italian Alessio Castelli has classified the thirty second with a 1:36.200 .

 

Race ( 18 laps ) As usual , after the red lights , Maria Herrera has staged a great start and after the first turn was placed in third place. The Cadiz Marcos Ramirez was also able to work out albiet among many pilots, has stuck to tenth place after the first corner . A large group of about a dozen pilots, has been to command the race. Herrera was placed in sixth position and gradually , true to its elegant pilot , has been going up to stand fourth in the twelfth round. On lap fourteen , an incident between two drivers who preceded him bothered him and has fallen to fifth place , sliding down more than desired in the first places . From here , the race has turned and Herrera , accusing more pain in his damaged right wrist during training , could not maintain its high pace and crossed the finish line in sixth place. The Toledo has not only achieved a fantastic result and has shown great track performance , but has also been the highest ranked Spanish representative . Ramirez , meanwhile , has been all race around the tenth position , having received two shots in the second round and has been as finished , although its pace had been allowed to be in the leading group . Castelli , continuing her national learning paths , has completed a good, close race where he finished in the twenty- seventh.

 

The next round of the CEV Repsol will be on November 17 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.
